I have a lot of intersecting faces on a peice i am trying to 3d print.
View Blender 3D Printing Intersect Faces US. My usual strategy in edit mode is to manually delete each face i have tried to select them all, and do a boolean operation, but that doesn't work (intersect deletes everything, union gives no improvement with all. I am using blender 2.7.8.

When a part is too thin to be printed, it is possible to thicken the general size of the object to thicken the problem zone. I have a lot of intersecting faces on a peice i am trying to 3d print. There should always be at least some faces flagged as overhanging face since these will be on the build surface.
